How can I check if my instrument operates properly?
- connect the probe with the instrument using a provided cable and turn the instrument on (a green light should appear)
- wet the probe head with water and press it to the inner side of the palm (in the thumb’s base); you should hear even sounds (at 1-sec intervals) and the green light should blink at the same frequency. It is a signal of good contact.
- immerse the probe head in a container with water – sound and light signals should increase their frequencies. It is a “pregnancy” signal – in this case it is the reflection of waves from the water in the container.

What is the rule behind the Pregnancy Tester?
The tester detects the presence of amniotic fluid in the uterus. It uses a phenomenon of ultrasound wave reflection. The probe which is placed on the female body sends a beam of ultrasounds which reflects from the uterus horns filled with fluid and returns, causing a change in the signal generated by the instrument.
